Job Description
The Department of Human Ecology School of Environmental and Biological Sciences Rutgers University in New Brunswick invites applications for the position of Lecturer for the in-person class Careers in EPIB 11:374:280 for the Fall 2025 semester. It is scheduled for Tuesday mornings 8:30-11:30. The successful applicant is expected to take on all responsibilities for teaching the course. This includes weekly course meetings preparing course presentation and test/evaluation materials grading tests and assignments managing course materials through the Canvas course management system and maintaining regular (remote and/or in person) office hours to answer student questions and to provide student assistance. Masters or PhD in a related environmental social science or policy field required. Professional experience in the environmental field is strongly valued. The Department of Human Ecology encourages all its teaching faculty to engage students in active and/or experiential learning. Previous course syllabus and materials are available to assist the Lecturer in maintaining continuity.
