Job Description
- Engage and collaborate with industry and government partners
- Undertake the role of discipline lead and share knowledge and expertise
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of courses and learning experiences for students
The role
- Full Time Continuing
- Level B - $113841 to $134965 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
- Canberra
You will be responsible for teaching and undertaking subject development in undergraduate and postgraduate emergency management programs as well as undertaking research and/or professional activities related to emergency management. The role also involves leading research initiatives developing innovative curriculum and fostering strong relationships with industry and government partners locally and internationally.
About you
- A doctoral qualification appropriate to Emergency Management or equivalent accreditation and standing.
- Sound knowledge of emergency management gained through industry experience and/or scholarly activities or similar.
- Evidence of the delivery of high-quality student-centred learning and teaching.
- Values student success and academic excellence.
