Job Description
Develop optimize and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages stored procedures functions and complex queries.
Design and build data structures including tables views indexes and schemas to support business intelligence needs.
Analyze design prototype unit test and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards reports and embedded analytics solutions that are user-friendly and visually impactful.
Develop and support SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO) reports and universes for business reporting and analysis.
Ensure delivery of high-quality stable and bug-free solutions through documentation code reviews regression testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and user communities to gather requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions and visualizations.
Maintain source control using GitLab TFS or Azure DevOps.
Proactively monitor system alerts and perform root cause analysis including occasional support outside of standard hours.
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong Oracle PL/SQL development experience including stored procedures triggers functions and performance tuning.
Proven experience with Power BI for report and dashboard development.
Hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects (Web Intelligence Universe Designer).
Experience with other BI tools (e.g. Power Apps SSRS) is a plus.
Strong knowledge of conceptual logical and physical data modeling.
Effective communication documentation and technical writing skills.
Ability to work independently with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Strong understanding of application lifecycle management version control and CI/CD processes.
Ability to troubleshoot and support production environments as part of an on-call rotation.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with other Microsoft BI stack tools (SSIS SSAS).
Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms and modern data warehouse architectures.
Exposure to Agile methodologies.
