Enjaz Consultancy and Enterprise Management is seeking a highly organized and professional Secretary & Public Relations Officer with a strong background in shipping and customs clearance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing supplier communications handling administrative duties and coordinating with government authorities on all logistics-related procedures. A solid understanding of shipping companies port operations and border crossing processes is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and communicating with local and international suppliers.
- Preparing and organizing shipping and customs clearance documents.
- Following up on governmental and regulatory procedures (e.g. customs GAFI General Authority for Exports & Imports etc.).
- Managing appointments correspondence and daily office tasks.
- Liaising with external agencies and government bodies as needed.
- Liaise with shipping companies and follow up on shipments at ports and border crossings.
- Supporting logistics and operations departments with required documentation.
- Assisting in filing data entry and document control.
Requirements
- Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration Public Relations or Corporate Communication or any related field
- Proven experience in a similar role especially within the shipping or clearance sector.
- Strong knowledge of government procedures and documentation related to import/export.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and handle pressure professionally.
- Good Command in English is must.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Preferably a university degree in Business Administration Logistics or a related field.
