Description

Reporting to the Vice President of Experience with a dotted line into the Regional/Hospital Medical Director the Referral Partner Liaison implements our referral partner strategy for a geographically defined and prioritized group of referral partners served by one or more MedVet hospitals.
The Referral Partner Liaison spends 70% of the time doing direct outreach in the community. Outreach is a mix of direct and joint with selected leaders and members of the healthcare team. The Liaison monitors the response to outreach recommending strategy improvements to enhance MedVets reputation as the preferred provider of specialty and emergency veterinary care. This highly collaborative position works closely with the Healthcare Experience and Marketing teams.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Referral Partner Experience Delivery
  • Participate in new doctor recruitment and onboarding
  • Supports new dyad leaders doctors and healthcare team members post-orientation to assess readiness for outreach and relationship-building. Provides support as needed
  • Share feedback from referral partners with the healthcare team to improve the MedVet Experience.
  • Provide regular updates on referral partner specifics and strategy in ongoing work and team meetings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align with internal/external campaigns messaging and events.
Referral Partner Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with referral partners (practice managers and doctors) through regular communication and outreach providing updates on MedVets care offerings.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis and prioritization of referral partners for outreach in response to data trends and feedback.
  • Determines quarterly visit targets and conducts outreach accordingly
  • Develop referral partner outreach plans (geographic and hospital-specific) with regional and local hospital dyads.
  • Coordinate referral practice outreach plans between local MedVet hospitals and specific to each local MedVet hospital. This work may require any or all of the following: scheduling routing materials preparation follow-up documentation and closing post-visit requests.
  • Collaborate with local MedVet hospital dyads in selecting and preparing healthcare team members to execute outreach plans.
  • Partner with doctors and healthcare team members on delivery of referral practice outreach plans as appropriate.
  • Educate referral partners on MedVets referral process ensuring their comfort and relaying feedback to our team.
  • Represent MedVet at local VMA events in collaboration with Medical Services.
  • Work with marketing to organize promote and execute local networking and educational events.
  • Work with the healthcare team to maintain up-to-date referral partner profiles and interaction histories in our electronic medical record system (ezyVet) and our CRM system including post-outreach data capture.
Referral Data Analysis
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market dynamics of the assigned area(s).
  • Track and interpret referral trends for assigned hospital(s) to inform actions.
  • Produces monthly dashboard of Referral Partner strategy metrics for review with regional/hospital dyads.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of referral partner relationship activities including referral volume and satisfaction metrics.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
The ideal candidate has a bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in veterinary healthcare management liaison outreach or care delivery. In addition this position requires a technician background or comparable work in veterinary space

  • Proven ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Comfortable traveling up to 70% of the time.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
