Fire safety Officer
Fire Pump Room Responsibility:-
- Ensure that all pumps in working condition/Auto mode
- Ensure Pressure gauges are working
- Checking of Gong bell
- Check diesel pump engine oil condition/level
- Check diesel engine battery condition
- Ensure all valves of pump room should be in open condition
- Ensure diesel tank level should be 80% above
- Ensure daily checklist has to be signed by shift fire officer
- Ensure all First Aid and Fire Fighting Equipments are serviceable 24/7
- Ensure fire water tank level
- Beacon light should be in working condition of pumps- check
- Ensure all the pumps should be leakage free
Smoke Ventilation System/Pressurization System Responsibility:-
- Ensure all fresh air fans in auto mode
- Ensure all smoke exhaust fans in auto mode
- Ensure all pressurization fans are in auto mode
- Ensure all Normal Exhaust fans are in auto mode
Common Responsibility: -
- Conduct Evacuation drill of Building
- Emergency response plan for clients in case of any emergency
- Ensure Smooth Operation of Traffic
- Check Guards duties and posts
- Penalties for wrong parking and smoking work with without safety &
- Deposition of money
- Handling of parking issues
- Training/ briefing of Guards on Fire safety and security
- Inspecting hot work area
- Checking of PPE at the site
- Issue Different Types of permits
- Checking and inspection with safety standards of fit out area
What this job involves:
Putting safety firstalways
This challenging yet exciting role puts you in the driving seat of our efforts to build and maintain an environmentally sustainable healthy and safe workplace. Youll provide safety support to all projects ensuring they all meet our own established standards and that of local safety regulations.
Specifically youll conduct safety review meetings with project and design team at the initial stage of the project. As well youll ensure that all high-risk activities have proper safety work method statement (SWMS). Additionally youll promote workplace safety by performing site inspections risk reports timely safety-related corrections and weekly safety meetings. Youll also constantly coordinate with the project manager and operations manager to ensure that everybody will be out of harms way.
Promoting safety awareness
Getting everyone on board our environment health and safety initiatives falls on your shoulders. To do you you need to create awareness and educate our people and stakeholders. Youll achieve this through consistent sharing of success stories and best practices among project JLL teams and also by doing regular mentoring and coaching of our safety officers and non-safety professionals. Another step would be obtaining the relevant professional licenses and ensuring they stay up-to-date.
Sound like you To apply you need to have:
Education and experience
An ideal candidate holds a solid healthy Fire safety and environmental (HSE) background and has at least 3 years experience in construction safety. You are also a safety license holder with a proven track record in providing safety trainings. We also expect you to be well versed in project safety systems processes tools and best practicesultimately applying such sources in the delivery of flawless projects.
An eye for detail
Well expect you to be good at identifying and devising measures to meet our stakeholders business needs and requirements. Having strong written and spoken communication skills are vital and of course youll be good at building team relationshipsthat is listening to your team and being open to suggestions and knowledge exchangeand interacting effectively with business partners.
