At Draxton Teruel (Utrillas) we are looking to hire a Health & Safety Specialist reporting to the HSE Manager. Your main mission will be to safeguard health and safety at the plant by monitoring working conditions and applying preventive actions in accordance with current regulations and internal procedures.
Your mission as a Health & Safety Specialist:
- Promote health & safety at all levels by integrating it into daily plant operations.
- Evaluate occupational risks using established methodologies and propose actions to minimize or eliminate them.
- Conduct scheduled safety inspections and ensure effective follow-up of corrective measures.
- Deliver training and awareness initiatives adapted to different organizational levels in the field of HSE.
- Take part in preventive activity planning and support emergency management through drills and first aid organization.
- Investigate accidents and incidents document root causes and collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective measures.
- Maintain effective collaboration with the External Prevention Service and subcontracted technicians managing all required documentation and ensuring compliance.
- Contribute to internal audits of the PRL Management System and assist in the development and revision of internal safety procedures.
- Provide technical support during Labor Inspections and visits from public authorities including documentation and on-site guidance.
- Participate in the Health & Safety Committee sharing your insights to help improve working conditions across the site.
- Support the plants energy and environmental compliance efforts (ISO 50001) identifying opportunities for efficiency minimizing environmental impact and promoting responsible resource use.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- A degree as a Higher Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention with specialties in Workplace Safety Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics & Applied Psychosociology.

- Flexible entry schedule Monday to Thursday (between 8:00 and 9:30 a.m.) with exit from 4:30 p.m.
- Short Fridays: work from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and start your weekend early.
- Summer intensive schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. from July 22 to August 16.
- 30 calendar days of vacation per year.
