Essential duties & responsibilities: (detailed description)
- Overseeing global retirement and financial benefits (e.g. U.S. commuter benefits employee discount plan tuition reimbursement) as assigned.
- Overseeing the day-to-day administration of the U.S. retirement plans.
- Designing and administering competitive financial benefit programs to support company strategies for attraction and retention of strong talent.
- Providing expertise advice and strategy regarding plans.
- Partner with payroll legal finance and HR to ensure governance regulatory compliance plan interpretation financial accounting reporting and funding requirements are maintained.
- Staying informed of industry labor and legal trends that may influence programs.
- Maintaining strong financial stewardship and risk management.
- Lead support and monitor the retirement plan committee and committee compliance.
- Active management of complex global and national vendors including contract negotiation.
- Partner with teams as appropriate on employee education and communication of assigned programs.
- Managing large projects that engage multiple stakeholders as assigned.
- Oversee and manage assigned team members.
- Leadership of financial benefit integrations for new acquisition: support local HR managing potential gaps of benefits (Stryker vs. new acquired Company).
Education & special trainings:
- Bachelors Degree or higher.
Qualifications & experience:
Minimum Requirements
- 10 years of experience in leading complex pension and retirement programs across a highly matrixed global organization including strong U.S. retirement plan experience.
- Working knowledge of developing executing and monitoring global strategies in pensions and related fields such as investmentsinsuranceand overall financial wellness.

- Demonstrated communication and presentation skills with ability to explain complex retirement concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to convert strategies into effective benefit solutions and to lead large cross functional projects.
- Ability to engage productively with senior leaders across geographies including the ability to constructively challenge the status quo and solve problems.
- Proven ability to work in an ambiguous fast-paced and rapidly changing environment while driving towards clarity and solutions.
- Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; proven ability to research follow up and resolve complex issues or problems.
Compensation:
- $149300 - $329000 salary plus bonus eligible generally eligible for short-term and long-term financial incentives benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills experience and other relevant factors.
Travel Percentage: 10%
