Job Title:.NET/C# Developer Azure
Location:Leeds - Hybrid
Rate:550/dayOutside IR35
Duration:Until End of September to begin with
Were looking for a skilled.NET/C# Developerwith strongAzureexperience and a solid understanding of modernDevOps practicesto help design build and scale cloud-native solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a range of impactful projects using the latest Microsoft technologies.
What youll be doing:
- Developing high-quality maintainable and scalable applications using C#/.NET (.NET 6 preferred).
- Building and deploying solutions inMicrosoft Azureusing services like App Services Azure Functions Key Vault and Cosmos DB.
- ImplementingCI/CD pipelinesusing tools such asAzure DevOps GitHub Actions or similar.
- Working closely with architects testers and stakeholders to deliver robust cloud-based systems.
- Contributing to infrastructure-as-code usingARM templatesBicep orTerraform.
- Applying software engineering best practices including unit testing code reviews and agile methodologies.
What were looking for:
- Strong experience in C# and the .NET ecosystem (.NET Core or .NET 6 ideal).
- Solid hands-on experience withMicrosoft Azure PaaS services Azure Functions and containerised workloads.
- Experience withDevOpstools and practices: CI/CD version control (Git) and automated deployments.
- Familiarity with container technologies such asDockerand orchestration tools likeKubernetes(nice to have).
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
Desirable:
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code).
- Understanding of secure coding practices and performance tuning in cloud environments.
- Exposure to frontend frameworks (e.g. Blazor Angular React) is a bonus.
