Job Description
Carrot is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Intermediate-Level Software Engineer with expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB and ). As a key member of our development team you will contribute to the design development and maintenance of our web applications.
As an Intermediate-Level Software Engineer you will be an essential part of our talented and collaborative development team working on exciting projects that challenge your skills and foster professional growth.
Your Day-to-Day
As part of Carrots Product & Engineering team you will be engaged in the following on a day-to-day basis:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and implement new user-facing features using the MERN stack technologies.
Participate in code reviews providing constructive feedback and adhering to coding best practices.
Debug and troubleshoot issues reported by users and team members ensuring timely resolution.
Write clean maintainable and efficient code following industry standards and company guidelines.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and suggest innovative ideas to enhance software quality and performance.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends technologies and best practices and share knowledge with the team.
Work Hours
We work remotely and asynchronously.
You will have the following weekly calls:
Daily Standup (Weekdays 12 PM Google Meet)
Sprint Planning & Retro (Biweekly TBD by PM)
Carrot Team Sync (Wednesdays 3 PM Google Meet)
Weekly Updates with Ops Admin & Finance teams
