Job Description
David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a multinational financial services company specialising in online trading who is seeking to onboard an Automation Quality Assurance to join their team in Limassol.
Position: Automation Quality Assurance
Location: Limassol Cyprus
Employment type: Full-time
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools such as Selenium Cypress Appium or similar.
- Conduct both automated and manual testing across web mobile and backend platforms to ensure software quality.
- Integrate and manage test suites within continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or equivalent.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to identify troubleshoot and resolve issues early in the software development lifecycle.
- Create update and maintain test plans test cases and related documentation to support test coverage and traceability.
- Ensure a high level of test coverage and contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of testing frameworks.
- Support performance load and security testing efforts as needed.
- Actively participate in Agile development practices including sprint planning daily stand-ups reviews and retrospectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Native or fluent in English (C1 level) with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance automation.
- Proficient in using automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver Cypress Appium or similar.
- Solid programming/scripting experience in one or more languages such as Java JavaScript Python or C#.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies test case design and QA best practices.
- Experience with mobile testing and a good understanding of platform-specific guidelines for Android and iOS.
- Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman Swagger or automation frameworks.
- Experience using debugging and logging tools for mobile and web applications (e.g. Charles Proxy Android Studio Xcode Logcat).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with tools like Jenkins GitLab CI/CD Bitbucket Pipelines or similar.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in dynamic fast-paced environments.
- Exposure to mobile app deployment processes and tools (e.g. Fastlane Bitrise Firebase Distribution) is a plus.
