Job purpose:

Develop and manage regional marketing plan and budget ensuring alignment with overall business and regional sales goals to generate & nurture leads. Manage regional distribution of BU-created campaigns across regional channels manage website content create key local marketing collaterals supporting Sales teams organize regional trade shows and events track performance and drive close collaboration with regional sales team while contributing to global marketing best practices and innovations.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and Manage Marketing Plans and Budget for the Region: Create and oversee the comprehensive marketing plan and budget for Japan (yearly planning with quarterly updates if required) related to relevant equipment portfolio services and themes/knowledge areas. Ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and regional targets. Collaborating closely with sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales goals.
  • Maximize Regional Distribution: Ensure effective distribution of campaigns across regional (digital) channels to reach target audiences and optimize effectiveness.
  • Manage Regional Channels: Oversee and optimize regional channels incl. Search and Social Media.
  • Manage Website Content: adapt and localize website content from global team for optimized local customer / lead experience.
  • Create Marketing Collaterals: Creation / adaptation of local content pieces to address local needs and pain points within defined industries to support Sales selling process.
  • Organize Trade Shows & Events: Plan organize and execute key regional trade shows and events incl. leading booth concept design and set-up phase incl. coordination of logistics manage event budgets negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective execution with continuous improvements to increase brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Generate and Nurture Leads: Produce high-quality Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and nurture them to conversion into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
  • Performance Tracking and Optimization: Track measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and events using data-driven insights to optimize strategies.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest marketing trends technologies and best practices implementing innovative tactics to drive growth.
  • Active Participation in Global Marketing Team: Contribute to the Global Marketing team ensuring alignment with global strategies and sharing best practices.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in the area of Marketing
  • Proven experience in B2B company in (matrix) Marketing organizations
  • Experience working in an international B2B company
  • Strong stakeholder management skills both regional as well as international
  • Ability to manage and solve complex business challenges
  • Ability to manage & prioritize multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment
  • Good understanding of industry customers and market dynamics good business acumen
