About the role
Provide high-quality literature search services and research support using a variety of databases citation tools and AI-powered search technologies.
Engage with clinical and multidisciplinary teams to support evidence-based practice and deliver tailored information solutions.
Design and deliver training sessions on research skills literature searching and citation management to support staff development.
Perform cataloguing duties ensuring accurate and accessible resource records to support efficient library operations.
Contribute to administrative tasks quality improvement activities and the ongoing development of library services in a dynamic research-focused environment.
About you
A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in Library and Information Management with eligibility for professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
Demonstrated experience conducting advanced literature searches across health-related databases and providing research support in clinical academic or research settings.
Proven ability to design and deliver information literacy and research training programs tailored to a range of audiences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary environments and engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Experience in key library functions such as cataloguing online resource troubleshooting document delivery service promotion or process improvement alongside a strong ability to work both independently and within a team.
