Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Type: Light Industrial
Location: Dreyers Grand Ice Cream
Pay: $30/hr.
Schedule: 6 am - 6:30 pm
Benefits: Medical Dental AD&D
We are looking for a motivated individual who is comfortable using tools and eager to learn. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic mechanical skills who is looking to grow in a hands-on industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Learn to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems like motors and gearboxes.
Support equipment inspections and lubrication tasks.
Follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout.
Use basic tools and equipment under supervision.
Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to take direction.
Adapt to a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
1 year of experience preferred but not required we are open to someone green and willing to learn.
Must be dependable hands-on and willing to work.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.
Must be available for weekends holidays and overtime as needed.
Preferred not required:
Mechanical or technical training/certification.
Familiarity with PLCs welding or industrial maintenance.
