As we grow were looking for a highly skilled and fully bilingual Legal Counsel to support our legal operations in Spain.

What impact you will have

Were seeking a seasoned Legal Counsel with strong expertise in Spanish contract law corporate legal matters and compliance. This role will be instrumental in managing Spanish-language contracts NDAs and legal operations involving external counsel.


What youll do

  • Draft review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements in Spanish and English including NDAs service agreements and vendor contracts.
  • Provide legal advice to internal teams on contractual obligations compliance and risk management.
  • Manage legal aspects of Submers operations in Spain including corporate labor and regulatory matters.
  • Liaise with outside counsel on specialized or complex legal issues (e.g. litigation IP employment).
  • Support cross-functional teams such as Sales HR and Operations with legal insights and contract support.
  • Maintain legal documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping and contract management.
  • Monitor changes in Spanish and EU laws that impact the business and help ensure compliance.
  • Assist in developing and standardizing legal templates policies and internal processes.


What youll need

  • Law degree from a Spanish university; admission to the Spanish Bar is preferred.
  • 5 years of relevant legal experience ideally including both law firm and in-house roles.
  • Deep knowledge of Spanish contract and commercial law.
  • Fully bilingual in Spanish and English (written and spoken) with the ability to draft and negotiate legal documents in both languages.
  • Demonstrated experience working with external legal counsel and managing legal projects independently.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a business-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced and international environment.
