Job Title: GCP Architect

We are looking for a skilled GCP Architect with over 10 years of experience to join our team on-site in India.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design and implement GCP solutions to meet business requirements.
- Architect data solutions utilizing various GCP services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GCP services.
- Analyze existing infrastructure and propose improvements.
- Ensure data governance quality and security across environments.
- Lead data migration initiatives to GCP with minimal downtime.
- Develop best practices for managing and leveraging GCP services.
- Provide oversight and guidance on data architecture projects.
- Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for internal teams.
- Stay updated with GCP releases and industry trends.
- Utilize containerization and orchestration strategies with GCP.
- Implement monitoring and logging to optimize performance.
- Manage technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define project scopes and timelines.
- Document architectural designs and implementation plans thoroughly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in architecture and design using GCP.
- Strong knowledge of all GCP services including BigQuery Cloud Storage and Compute Engine.
- Experience with data modeling ETL processes and data warehousing.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python Java or Go.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise security frameworks on GCP.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in teams.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with GDPR and other compliance mandates.
- Cloud certifications such as Google Professional Cloud Architect are preferred.
- Ability to mentor junior staff and promote knowledge sharing.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and evolve with changing landscapes.
