REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Colonoscopy
Endoscopy
ERCP (REQUIRED)
EUS (Preferred evidence of 24 procedures in past 36 months; mucosal/submucosal pancreaticobiliary and EUS-guided fine needle aspirations)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active FL license required
Board: Board Certified in Gastroenterology
DEA: Active DEA Certification
Certifications: BLS/ACLS as applicable
Experience: Must have seen at least 50 inpatient or consultative GI patients in past 12 months
Other Qualifications:
- Clean background
- Clean NPDB
- Must meet procedure log requirements
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide inpatient gastroenterology services (consults follow-ups and procedures)
Perform required procedures (Colonoscopy Endoscopy ERCP)
Work collaboratively with APPs and hospital support staff
Cover one location per shift (no mid-day travel between sites)
Maintain flexibility for coverage between locations across the network
