Job Description
- Utilize Cabinet Vision software to create accurate 3D models and shop drawings for custom cabinetry projects.
- Collaborate with designers architects and clients to understand project requirements and translate design concepts into technical drawings.
- Generate cut lists material lists and CNC machine files from Cabinet Vision drawings to facilitate the manufacturing process.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards building codes and client specifications.
- Incorporate changes and revisions to drawings based on feedback from clients and project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless communication and implementation of design plans.
- Review and verify dimensions materials and hardware specifications for accuracy and feasibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering Woodworking Technology or a related field is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Cabinet Vision Drafter Joiner Drafter or similar role.
- Proficient in Cabinet Vision software preferably with a strong portfolio showcasing previous cabinetry projects.
- Solid understanding of woodworking techniques materials and hardware.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with design teams and clients.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CNC machining processes and equipment is a plus.
