Key Responsibilities
Application Engineer Vision & AOI
We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our team specializing in Inspection and AOI machines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with customer and suppliers for designing developing and implementing vision applications for automated optical
inspection systems
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in vision application development
preferably in AOI or related industries
Strong knowledge of computer vision image processing and machine learning principles
Ability to analyze data and troubleshoot vision system issues
Understand the customer requirements and work with suppliers to develop and implement vision applications for AOI machines including camera
setup lighting and algorithm development
Integrate vision systems with AOI machines ensuring seamless communication and data exchange
Develop and optimize algorithms for defect detection measurement and inspection
Troubleshoot vision system issues identifying and resolving problems to minimize downtime
Provide technical support to manufacturing ensuring successful implementation and operation of AOI systems
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency accuracy and productivity
