Job Description
An Instructional Assistant English LanguageLearners (ELL) assists ELL teachers in reviewing and reinforcing lessons tostudents; performs related duties as requested.
ELIGIBILITY:APPLICANT MUST BE FLUENT SPANISH.An applicant must possess a high school diploma or GED recognized by theOhio Department of Education. Original diplomas transcripts andParapro results must be presented for verification by the Classified Office ofthe Human Resources Department.
- An applicant must possess a strong desire and willingness to assist teachers and administrators in serving a diverse student population.
- An applicant must have the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with students parents co-workers and supervisors.
- An applicant if hired must obtain an Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education.
SPECIAL NOTE:Must be BilingualPrefer strong Math/ScienceSkills and good Communication Skills.

HOURS OF WORK:Varies and for the school year
STARTING SALARY:$15.06/hr
