Role Description:
As an Associate Project Manager you will lead the Project Management and Contract Administration services for strategic infrastructure on large residential and mixed-use projects. In this role you will manage project delivery work with senior stakeholders and operationally lead a project team. Youll be responsible for ensuring all work and outputs are executed to meet project needs and objectives.
Role Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage an operational team setting objectives and developing skills to deliver required outputs and continuously improve results.
- Translate project objectives into plans costs and schedules managing finances across the project lifecycle to meet profit and budgetary targets.
- Implement projects by managing multi-disciplinary teams to ensure delivery standards meet client expectations.
- Monitor team performance to ensure compliance with Arcadis risk and compliance policy and codes of conduct.
- Assure compliance with contracts regarding project delivery parameters and scope of service.
- Analyze complex data and documents using knowledge to provide advice and recommendations for project decision-making.
- Develop processes and review policies for projects ensuring changes align with strategic business objectives.
- Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and collaboration across projects ensuring client satisfaction.
- Act as a technical expert within projects providing subject matter advice to colleagues to support successful delivery.
- Manage relationships with clients and third-party contractors to keep all parties informed of project progress and expectations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent.
- NEC accreditation.
- Relevant professional qualification or chartered status.
- Relevant project management experience including managing and leading teams.
- Working knowledge of NEC/ICC contract administration.
- Infrastructure experience including earthworks highways and drainage.
- Ability to produce/interrogate delivery programs.
- Commercial acumen and ability to manage relationships with and influence external stakeholders.
- Experience managing business relationships at the senior-management level.
