Overview of the role
We are looking for a new Service Engagement Manager role to join the team and help us continue to deliver outstanding clinical care for our patients.
The Service Engagement Manageris responsible forsupporting the development and growth of patient referrals intoNewmedicaservices.
This role will support 3 of our clinical services in Nottingham Northampton and Oxford and the role holder would ideally be based in Nottingham. This is a full-time remote role but you will be expected to travel three days per week. Occasional evenings and weekends will be required.
Sowhat will I be doing
Working across your designated geographical area youll deliver the required referral numbers to your Ophthalmology Joint Ventures (OJVs) to achieve business targets such as sales and profits plans. Youll promote Newmedica services and patient choice to deliver referral volumes.
You will be highly visible within the community surrounding each ofthe OJVlocations andyour practical understanding of the local referral community will help Partners todevelopreferrer engagement plans andbuildlocal relationshipswith referrers such asOpticians GPs Referral Management Centres LOCs.
Youllbe the mainconduit forour Joint VenturePartners and theNewmedicamarketing the eyes and ears on the ground and will have a thorough understanding of competitor support brand new OJVs in the lead up to and immediately after opening to ensure traction and awareness in their referral communities. Youllalso play a key role in the planning and organising of events such as CPD sessions at the OJVs as well as optical fairs and national seminars.
What skills and experience do I need for the role
Youllhaveexperience within a referrals or sales generation environment. Ideally you will haveknowledge of the NHS policy landscape relating to patient referrals particularly in the ophthalmology sector.
Youllbe a resistantself-startera strong communicator who is ableto overcome challenges and influence people to your point of view.
Your friendly and engaging personality will mean that you are adept atestablishingeffective working relationships with a wide variety of tobuilding long term relationshipsand willunderstand how tomaintainthese contacts in a way that will encourage on-going patient referrals.
Youllhaveexperienceoforganisingand managing promotional eventsand your excellent organisational skills will ensure these arealways a success.
Youllbe comfortable working in ahome-basedrole with a high degree of travelaround theOJVs that you coreworking time istypical office hoursflexibility will berequiredregarding travel andafter-hoursevents.
