Job Description
Kitting Lead/Warehouse Assistant
We are looking for a full-timeKitting Lead/Warehouse Assistantto work out of our Phoenix-based warehouse location.
Key Responsibilities in this role include:
- Reducing on site installation time by kitting and preparing RTA items prior to installation.
- Ensuring a safe and clean facility.
- Assisting with fleet movement and management.
- Responsibility for installation equipment management and distribution.
- Leading recycling efforts for soft plastics cardboard and metals.
- Collaborating and problem solving with cross-functional employees to share knowledge and improve outcomes.
Other duties may include:
- Providing project and customer-appropriate solutions helping us win and retain customers.
- Kitting and preparing furniture in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensuring a safe and clean facility.
- Assisting with fleet movement and management.
- Equipment management and distribution.
- Assisting with installation as needed.
- Meeting or exceeding customer expectations with regards to response times and quality of internal and external communications and deliverables.
- Other related job duties as assigned.
Preferred candidates possess:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Two (2) years experience of previous furniture or architectural products installation.
- Strong product and technical knowledge of major contract manufacturers.
Physical requirements:
- Ability to carry fifty (50) pounds frequently.
- Lift fifty (50) pounds frequently.
- Push one hundred (100) pounds assisted frequently.
- Pull one hundred (100) pounds assisted frequently.
- Sit stand walk climb stoop kneel crouch crawl squat push/pull balance weight use hands and fingers reach speak and hear.
