Role Details:

As the Senior HSE Coordinator you will be a key team player in driving the health safety and environmental initiatives across three sites located in Ingleburn and Smithfield.

Initially based at our Ingleburn Plastics site with eventual flexibility to work and be based at any of the three sites.

Reporting to the Plant Manager at Ingleburn Plastics you will collaborate with site leadership teams to ensure safety standards are upheld and continuously improved coach managers supervisors and employees to enhance safety culture and compliance.

What youll do:

• Lead the implementation and ongoing improvement of HSE systems and standards across three operational sites.
• Partner with site and regional leaders to drive a strong safety culture and proactive safety leadership.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation codes of practice and internal policies.
• Oversee audits risk assessments and incident investigations ensuring timely follow-up and continuous learning.
• Identify and drive opportunities for innovation and improvement in safety performance and environmental sustainability.
• Provide coaching and guidance to operational teams helping build HSE capability across the business.

What Youll Bring:

• A formal HSE qualification (e.g. Cert IV in OHS or equivalent)
• 3 years of experience in a HSE Role manufacturing environment is a plus
• Strong working knowledge of HSE management systems regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.
• Proven experience leading safety initiatives and ability to influence a positive safety culture
• Tertiary qualifications in safety engineering or business are highly regarded.
• Proficiency in using HSE data systems and reporting tools to support decision-making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
