Job Description
Assistant Teaching Professor in Entrepreneurship
The Management and Business Department at Skidmore College invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track appointment in Entrepreneurship at the Assistant Teaching Professor rank beginning August is a renewable appointment. All teaching is at the undergraduate level.
Responsibilities:
- Teach a normal load of 18 credits per academic year in entrepreneurship at both the introductory and advanced levels.
- Non-teaching responsibilities as a full-time faculty member such as advising students serving on academic committees and other duties consistent with the mission of the Department.
Qualifications:
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: a) have a terminal degree (doctoral level) in Business Management or a related field or b) have a Master level degree appropriate for the position and experience with managing startups and small businesses. Teaching experience at the college level is a plus but not required.
Salary range: $73300 to $80000.
