Job Description
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree in Mining Engineering Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering or equivalent trade qualifications.
Experience in large-scale mining and mineral processing (beneficiation) projects.
Demonstrated leadership in managing site-based construction and mining operations.
Knowledge of international and local codes/standards including environmental and safety legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision:
Oversee daily construction and mining operations in the beneficiation and mining areas including civil mechanical electrical and piping (MEP) works.Execution Oversight:
Monitor contractor and subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with project scope technical specifications schedules and safety protocols.Planning & Coordination:
Coordinate with Engineering Procurement Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) teams to ensure seamless project execution in your area of responsibility.Safety & Compliance:
Enforce project and legal HSE (Health Safety Environment) requirements. Lead toolbox talks and ensure all personnel adhere to safety practices.Quality Control:
Collaborate with QA/QC teams to verify quality compliance and resolve field issues that could impact structural or operational integrity.Progress Monitoring:
Track construction and mining progress identify risks and support the development of mitigation plans. Submit daily and weekly progress reports.Stakeholder Interface:
Liaise with project management engineering and operations teams to resolve technical and logistical challenges promptly.Pre-Commissioning Support:
Assist in system walk-downs punch list management and support for commissioning and start-up activities related to beneficiation and mining systems.
