Were currently seeking an experienced and motivatedMining Engineerto join our high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to dynamic projects in a company that values ingenuity and professional growth.
The RoleAs a Mining Engineer you will be responsible for creating operational level mine designs producing and executing mine plans implementing productivity initiatives and engaging with multiple stakeholders to embed leading practice.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop daily and/or weekly mine plans using relevant software (e.g. Alastri APS Deswik Sched or similar).
Creating tactical level mine designs (roads ramps pit modifications waste dumps etc)
Optimising haulage routes and road networks
Identifying productivity improvement initiatives and ensuring they encompass the needs of all stakeholders
Drill and blast design
Provide technical support to mine operations teams
Generate production and conformance reports
Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
4 years experience
Experience with daily/weekly mine planning
Experience with site based mine design
Experience with drill and blast design
Proven experience with Vulcan and/or Deswik CAD
Proven experience with Alastri suite and/or Deswik Scheduling tools
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Uncompromising commitment to safety.
Current manual drivers licence.
Quarry Managers ticket (preferred but not essential)
