We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Manager to join a well-established branch in Midrand Gauteng. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving business growth providing technical oversight and ensuring outstanding customer service across the region.
Key Responsibilities
1. New Business Development
Identify and pursue opportunities to expand market share.
Conduct sales presentations and pitches to prospective clients.
Provide accurate and competitive pricing.
Successfully close sales and achieve set targets.
Ensure completion of Credit Applications / Customer Detail Forms.
Prepare presentations as required.
2. Sales & Customer Liaison
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular visits.
Assess customer needs recommend solutions and secure orders.
Collaborate with Telesales for order processing.
Conduct product demonstrations when required.
Communicate new products promotions and pricing to clients.
Ensure service reports are completed and signed by customers.
3. Services & Technical Oversight
Conduct routine service calls and attend to customer callouts.
Service and maintain equipment arranging repairs as necessary.
4. Installations
Manage customer installation requests.
Coordinate equipment requisition and collection.
Oversee installations at client sites.
Ensure Proof of Delivery and Equipment Loan Agreements are completed.
5. Product Knowledge
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products.
Ensure team members are fully trained and competent.
6. Planning Administration & Reporting
Lead strategic planning initiatives.
Manage administrative responsibilities.
Compile and submit accurate reports to management.
7. Ad Hoc Duties
Perform additional tasks as required to support branch operations.
Minimum Requirements
Reliable vehicle with valid insurance.
Proven track record in sales and customer service.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant technical knowledge and ability to oversee service/installation activities.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
