Insurance Sales Producer
As an Insurance Sales Producer with Western Financial Group you will use your sales expertise to prospect and bring new commerical insurance clients to the organization. We will provide paid licensing and training to get you started and support as you build your book of business.
Here is what a typical day looks like
- Prospect and up-sell to clients on all lines of business sold.
- Work and life balance with flexibility to create your own schedule to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Consistently generate quality new business by networking and building Centers of Influence to ensure a consistent stream of referral business.
- Promote retention by building strong relationships and providing quality advice to prospects and customers for long term sustainable growth.
- Navigate multiple insurance partner online portals to complete customer applications.
- Meet and exceed sales and retention targets.
- Collaboratewith insurance company Underwriters to ensure evolving guidelines are met.
- Liaise between client and external insurance partners to ensure fair and proper representation for both parties.
- Continuous self-development through industry and community involvement and industry related courses.

- The ability to communicate professionally in person over the phone and through email
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in the face of adversity
- Level 2License and insurance industry knowledge is an asset if unlicensed we would train the right candidate and Licensing would need to be obtained within three months
Hours: Full-Time Permanent - 37.5 hours/week
Location: Hybrid in Red Deer AB
Compensation: Guaranteed Income Commission of 50% of New Business & 30% on Renewals
