Job Description
Role: QA Tester Policy Decisions (P&C Insurance Domain)
Duration: Long Term
Location: Warren NJ (Hybrid)- Relocation will work candidates must be from EST/ CST
Minimum experience required: 8 yrs
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced QA Tester with strong expertise in Insuritys Policy Decisions platform and a solid understanding of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and executing test strategies functional and integration testing and working closely with business and technical teams to ensure high-quality product delivery in core insurance systems.
We are seeking an experienced QA Tester with strong expertise in Insuritys Policy Decisions platform and a solid understanding of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and executing test strategies functional and integration testing and working closely with business and technical teams to ensure high-quality product delivery in core insurance systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and system specifications related to Policy Decisions modules
- Develop and execute detailed test cases test scripts and test plans for policy administration workflows including quoting rating binding endorsements renewals and cancellations
- Perform functional integration regression and system testing on Insurity Policy Decisions platform
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts Developers and Product Owners to ensure test coverage
- Identify document and track defects using tools like JIRA Azure DevOps or similar
- Work with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with insurance regulations and P&C business processes
Required Skills:
- 3 7 years of QA experience in insurance domain projects
- Strong hands-on experience with Insuritys Policy Decisions (or equivalent policy admin systems)
- In-depth understanding of P&C Insurance especially in areas like Personal/Commercial Auto Homeowners General Liability Workers Compensation etc.
- Experience in testing rating logic forms policy transactions and regulatory compliance updates
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g. ALM Zephyr qTest) and defect tracking tools
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in automation testing (Selenium UFT etc.) is a plus
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
