A business advisory firm based in Mosta Malta is currently looking for a Senior Tax Advisor to join their team. The company supports a wide range of local and international clients offering tax advice and services across various industries. This is a hybrid role and offers a salary of up to 40K depending on experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Reviewing and preparing documentation for changes in company structures such as share transfers allotments and capital increases
- Providing tax advice and preparing or reviewing tax memos for both local and international matters
- Staying up to date with Maltese and international tax legislation
- Attending client meetings and offering support on tax-related matters
- Ensuring ongoing client compliance with income tax laws
- Advising on tax residency domicile and succession planning
- Assisting with group restructuring projects
- Planning and managing your workload to meet deadlines
- Supporting business development initiatives
Education Skills and Experience
- Qualified accountant or lawyer
- Ideally 3 years experience working in a similar role with a Maltese company
- Proficiency in English at a C2 or native level both written and spoken
- Knowledge of Maltese income tax
- Results-driven with good time and organizational skills
- Able to take initiative and work independently
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach
- Comfortable working with different teams to provide solutions to clients
