Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and driven Johor based Senior Logistics Executive for our client within the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) sector. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and cost-efficient flow of materials and the ideal candidate should have a strong background in supply chain and logistics management with a proven track record of supporting production excellence and timely customer deliveries.
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute logistics strategies while ensuring cost-effective and timely transportation of electronic components and finished goods.

Lead and oversee daily logistics operations including inbound material flow outbound shipments and coordination with production schedules.

Manage and continuously evaluate the end-to-end supply chain performance to meet strict customer delivery timelines and quality standards

Track and coordinate the movement of components and products across multiple sites and external partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Negotiate with freight forwarders carriers and suppliers to obtain competitive rates and service levels while maintaining flexibility for dynamic production demands.

Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure seamless warehousing distribution and customs clearance processes.

Oversee inventory control warehousing and shipping activities to support just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing needs.

Analyze and optimize current logistics workflows identifying opportunities to reduce lead time costs and risks while enhancing operational efficiency.

Generate timely and accurate logistics reports KPIs and dashboards for management review and cross-functional alignment.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior Logistics Executive or in a similar capacity ideally within the EMS or electronics manufacturing sector.

Solid understanding of logistics operations supporting fast-paced component-driven production environments.

Proficient in logistics and supply chain management systems with strong data analysis skills.

Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities with a keen sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage both internal teams and external vendors effectively.

Adept at solving problems and making quick sound decisions in high-pressure scenarios.
