Job Description
A growing financial institution based in Malta and regulated by the MFSA is urgently seeking a General Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operations management risk identification and analysis as well as the creation and amendments of procedures and documents related to policies among other duties.
This role is office-based and offers a salary of up to 85K depending on experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage Operations
- Identify and Analyze Risks
- Oversee Premium Rates
- Handle Claims Management including Investigations
- Review and Manage Policies
- Administer Re-insurance
- Review Financial Information and Management Accounts
- Manage Insurance Data for Reporting
- Collaborate with Tax Compliance Service Providers
Education Skills and Experience
- 5 years of experience in a similar role
- ACII qualification (non-negotiable)
- Fluency in English at a C2 level
- Fluency in German is a plus
- Strong insurance background ideally within Malta
- Willingness to travel for training and operational business needs
About the Role
- Competitive salary of up to 85K depending on experience
- Office-based in Sliema Malta
- Flexible working hours: 40 hours per week with a 30-minute daily break with starting times ranging from 6:30 am to 9:00 am
