The Legal and Compliance Associate will support the organization in ensuring compliance with applicable laws regulations and internal policies. This role involves assisting in legal document review regulatory monitoring risk assessment and supporting internal audits and investigations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented proactive and committed to maintaining a culture of compliance and ethical integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting reviewing and organizing contracts agreements and legal documents.
- Monitor and track regulatory changes and ensure company policies remain up to date.
- Support the development and enforcement of internal compliance policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with external legal advisors and regulatory bodies when needed.
- Assist in preparing reports for audits risk assessments and internal investigations.
- Conduct basic legal research and prepare summaries for internal use.
- Maintain confidential legal and compliance records.
- Educate staff on compliance requirements through training or awareness materials.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Law Legal Studies or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in a legal or compliance-related role (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).
- Basic knowledge of local and international regulatory environments (e.g. labor law commercial law data protection).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in both Arabic and English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal documentation tools.
