Job Description

About the Role:

A global leader in electric vehicle battery manufacturing is seeking an experienced Security Manager to oversee and enforce physical and IT security at a high-tech production facility in Queen Creek Arizona. This role is responsible for leading the development and execution of risk management strategies compliance protocols and security operations to safeguard both physical assets and intellectual property. Youll collaborate with global headquarters and local teams to align strategic initiatives and manage on-site security programs.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all physical and IT security operations across the facility.

  • Establish implement and monitor security goals risk assessments and compliance strategies.

  • Lead vulnerability and compliance audits analyze security risks and provide strategic direction to leadership.

  • Develop and enforce security policies procedures and protocols to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.

  • Implement and monitor control systems to support security audit readiness.

  • Collaborate with global HQ to execute company-wide security initiatives and ensure alignment with corporate standards.

  • Evaluate and recommend security technologies and best practices during installation and configuration of new systems.

  • Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services to maintain robust emergency response plans.

  • Lead mentor and manage the security team including hiring training scheduling and performance evaluations.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Security Criminal Justice Information Security).

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in physical or IT security; at least 1 year of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.

  • Strong understanding of risk management security compliance and threat assessment.

  • Proven ability to implement and manage cross-functional security programs and controls.

  • Process-oriented thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communicator with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours when needed to support operations.

  • Bilingual in English and Korean is required.
