Job Title: Virtual Assistant (Cold Calling/Admin)

Employment Type: Part-Time / Contractor Hours: Approx. 15 20 hours per week (with potential to grow)
Rate: 7AUD/hour
About the Company:
The company is a trusted NDIS consulting firm that supports providers across Australia with registration compliance audit preparation and operational guidance. Our goal is to simplify complex NDIS requirements so that providers can focus on delivering high-quality services to participants. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Virtual Assistant (VA) to join our team. This role combines administrative support outreach to prospective clients and management of our social media presence.
Role Overview:
The VA will play a key part in supporting our daily business operations. This includes assisting with internal admin conducting cold outreach to NDIS providers and driving our digital presence through effective social media management.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
Manage emails appointments and task coordination
Assist with client onboarding and internal workflow tracking
Maintain digital records folders and templates
Support consultants with document preparation and follow-up communication
Outreach & Cold Calling
Contact NDIS providers (e.g. support coordinators plan managers allied health businesses) to introduce our services
Use scripts and tailored messaging while maintaining professionalism and confidence
Record all outreach activities in a CRM or tracker and manage follow-ups
Build a basic lead list of potential clients and partners
Social Media Management
Plan and schedule content across Facebook LinkedIn and Instagram
Design simple branded visuals using Canva or similar tools
Write engaging captions and manage replies and inboxes professionally
Track and report on engagement and suggest content improvements
Who We re Looking For
We re looking for a VA who is:
Confident on the phone and comfortable initiating professional conversations
Organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
Familiar with social media content creation and brand communication
Proactive and reliable with strong time management and accountability
Willing to learn about the NDIS sector and our services
Essential Skills & Experience
1 year experience in a VA administrative or outreach role
Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
Experience in cold calling lead generation or business development
Competency with Google Workspace Canva and social media tools (e.g. Buffer Hootsuite)
Ability to maintain accurate records and use basic CRMs or spreadsheets
Preferred (Not Essential)
Knowledge of the NDIS sector and common provider types
Previous experience working with NDIS businesses or support professionals
Availability & Working Hours
Must be available during Australian business hours (AEST) for outreach and internal communication
Starting at 15 20 hours per week with flexibility and potential for more hours over time.
