The Role
The ABC is looking for a Senior Producer to play a key role in setting the Sydney agenda by leading and managing 702 ABC Radio Sydneys Mornings to achieve the highest level of editorial production and presentation standards.
The Job
- Lead Local Radio Mornings to produce high-quality newsworthy content.
- Coordinate story flow and communication between Breakfast and Mornings teams.
- Plan and deliver key content initiatives to grow audience and engagement.
- Serve as main contact between program team and station management.
- Monitor team performance and develop skills through regular reviews.
- Implement strategies to build audience on social media and ABC Listen app.
- Manage relationships internally and externally to support ABC priorities.
- Assist with logistics budgeting and rostering for smooth operations.
- Oversee onboarding and training of new and casual staff.
- Ensure Local Emergency Coverage Plan is followed.
