Job Summary:
The Technical Writer role involves transforming complex technical and architectural materials into clear visually engaging communications for both technical and non-technical audiences. This role supports modernization efforts by ensuring deliverables are thoroughly documented easily understood and aligned with public service communication standards. The individual will collaborate with architects and designers to capture and document data governance frameworks architecture models integration flows and policies and create visuals and templates for various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Create professional technical project and user documentation including systems and operational procedures.
- Develop online documentation for internal and external audiences.
- Design and maintain visual assets including infographics architecture maps flow diagrams and stakeholder-facing visuals.
- Apply documentation standards including AODA compliance branding and language guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical concepts into accessible formats.
- Support governance and reporting forums by producing briefing decks summary visuals and dashboard-style progress updates.
- Maintain version control and traceability of documentation using platforms.
- Develop and manage standardized templates for architecture decks briefing notes design documents and stakeholder reports.
- Publish documentation on portals and collaboration platforms ensuring accessibility and consistency.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders adapting content for diverse audiences.
- Use authoring and illustration tools to produce high-quality deliverables.
- Ensure alignment with health data interoperability standards in documentation and visuals.
