The opportunity
The Senior Manager Community Programs leads a number of Red Cross community programs that support clients to maintain social connectedness independence improve health and wellbeing outcomes.
The position is accountable for ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to our clients communities and consumers compliance with standards and legislation operational performance and financial sustainability.
This role is a member of the Senior Leadership team demonstrating our constructive culture supporting high performance teams coaching and guiding our employees volunteers and members.
What you will bring
- Proven track record as an effective leader supporting and building positive and constructive relationships within teams
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal oral and written communication skills including an ability to influence and build rapport across a range of teams and departments catering for diversity within the team
- Substantial experience in managing change identifying and adopting new ways of working and negotiating on matters of significance to assist in securing the cooperation of key stakeholders.
- Experience and deep understanding of the community care sector
- Working with children check
- Australian Drivers licence
