Pay Scale:Paraprofessional/Clerical 7
Primary Purpose:
Coordinate the Medicaid and School Health and Related Services (SHARS) Program.
Qualification Guidelines:
Thorough knowledge of and experience with the Texas Medicaid Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) and the School Health and Related Services (SHARS) Programs
Knowledge of Special Education law and guidelines regarding Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Education/Certifications:
High School Diploma
Bachelors Degree (preferred)
Experience:
Experience in working with special education records and/or Medicaid billing
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of state and federal special education law IEPs SHARS SMART system
Understanding of the individual needs of special needs students
Ability to communicate with service providers
Ability to interpret policy procedures and data
Ability to work with district personnel
Ability to manage assigned personnel
Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills
Keyboarding and computer proficiency
