Were looking for Disability Support Workers to join our cluster of Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes in Warrawong and Warilla(Illawarra Region)
We have 4 X casual position available. All of which require you to work across 2-3 (SIL) homes.
This role requires pro-active engaging and reliable staff who have a love for building relationships person centered care and making a difference! If youre passionate about supporting people with a disability and mental health then wed absolutely love to hear from you!
Your new role:
- Supporting adults with complex mental health and intellectual and physical disabilities in an independent living model.
- Following positive behaviour support and care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers.
- Encouraging capacity building to enhance clients current skills such as hygiene safe relationships domestic duties using public transport and accessing the community safely.
- Promoting choice and controland show willingness to participate in clients day to day routines goals and interests.
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect

Some of our requirements:
- P2 NSW Drivers License or higher and your own vehicle
- Working with Childrens check NDIS Workers check First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work AMPM and Sleepovers (8:30am-16:30pm day and 16:30pm to 08:30am)
- Applicants must have full working rights and be able to work minimum 4 shifts per week.

Please note: successful applicants will be required to hold a NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and a Working with Children Check. If you have lived or worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years a certified International Police Check from that country/countries will also be required.
