Financial Analyst
Here is what a typical day looks like
- Annual and Long-Term Operating Plans and Capital Plans (cash & debt)
- Financial analysis for business cases to support business decision making including Net Present Value and discounted cash flows
- Research macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions to support business cases forecasts and projections
- Identify financial performance trends financial risks and makerecommendations
- Collaboratewith stakeholders across the organization to increase understanding of cases review financial information and forecasting.
- Provide support in creating financial models and making financial forecasts.
- Support the development and analysis of compensation plans
- Creating and supporting cost allocation models
The value you bring
- 4 years of accounting and/or analysis experience
- CPA designation is preferred
- Use curiosity and critical thinking skills to find outliers in financial information and bring solutions to problems
- You can collaborate with others to transform numbers on a spreadsheet into a story that informs or recommends a course of action
- Experience in the following areas is an asset:
- Enterprise Financial Planning including Operating and Capital Planning
- Writing and presenting business cases
- Analyzing and presenting financial information
- Organization and prioritization skills in high volume environment
- Ability to work with and learn a variety of software programs
- Working knowledge of Excel (intermediate level pivot tables lookups)
- Exposure to Power BI reporting an asset
Hours: Full-time 37.5/ hour/
Location: Remote in Canada
Compensation Range: $70000 - $96000
