The Wellcome Trust is a global charitable foundation. We improve health for everyone by funding science leading policy and advocacy campaigns and building partnerships.
We plan to spend 16bn over the next ten years funding new discoveries in life health and wellbeing and taking on three global health challenges: mental health infectious disease and climate and health.
These challenges need the bold science we support but they wont be solved by science alone.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Talent (Acquisition and Development) to join the People Leadership teamto play an active role in helping develop and implement thePeople Framework enabling Wellcome become the best place to work and supporting the delivery of the mission.
Reporting into the Chief People Officer the Head of Talent will be responsible for developing and executing an integrated talent strategy that aims to attract retain and develop top talent to support the delivery of Wellcomes mission.
The Head of Talent will focus on enhancing Wellcomes talent management approach fostering a culture of growth and excellence to transform Wellcome into the best place to work.

Experienceofrunningan innovative talent acquisition (recruitment) and talent development (learning and development) function in a large organisation and knowledge of development in these fields
Experience and understanding of change management ability totranslate strategic goals into operational plansand develop coherent long-term strategies to achieve these objectives
Demonstrable experience of managing projects and delivering successful outcomes
Experience of leadingcontinuouscultural changeand developmentat an organisational level

Our Hybrid Way of Working

At Wellcome we have a hybrid way of working which is 3 days in our Euston Road offices (Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday) with the remaining 2 days working either remotely or in the office.
