Job Description

As a Mental Health Clinician & Clinical Consultant you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers. What youll be doing:

  • Provide confidential compassionate counselling and support to employees through Homewood Healths Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP)
  • Complete psychosocial assessments treatment plans progress notes and case closures under Clinical Manager supervision
  • Support employees returning from mental health-related leaves with personalized care and accommodation planning
  • Deliver Crisis Management Services (CMS) Key Person Advice Line (KPAL) and crisis call support as needed
  • Facilitate workshops and psychoeducation (e.g. stress resilience conflict resolution)
  • Promote EFAP services and actively encourage employee engagement and program awareness
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to identify trends and support mental health strategy and culture-building initiatives

This position requires working onsite in our Kitchener office as well as a Woodstock client site and enables working from home 1 day a week.

What were looking for:

  • Masters in Counselling Psychology Social Work or other related discipline
  • Must hold a valid registration with the relevant governing body
  • Minimum 3 years of counseling experience
  • Experience in brief solution-oriented counselling
  • Knowledge of assessment crisis management and EFAP services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Awareness and acknowledgement of the value of using measurement-based care when supporting patients/clients to help guide clinical decision making; experience an asset
