Were working with Whatley Campus a specialist school for students aged 916 with complex needs to recruit a compassionate and resilient ASC/ADHD Teaching Assistant for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time long-term position and a fantastic chance for a graduate looking to launch a career in child development teaching or therapy.
What you can expect as an ASC/ADHD Teaching Assistant:
A full-time term-time only role starting in September 2025
Competitive weekly pay via PAYE
A dedicated ASC/ADHD Teaching Assistant role supporting pupils with autism ADHD speech and language needs and trauma
One-to-one and small group support
Working closely with a multidisciplinary team including therapists teachers and SENCOs
Specialist training and long-term development in a therapeutic setting
A stepping stone into careers in Educational Psychology SEN teaching or CAMHS
Your role as an ASC/ADHD Teaching Assistant will involve:
Supporting the learning emotional regulation and wellbeing of pupils with ASC and ADHD
Developing strategies for behaviour and communication
Creating a consistent and structured learning environment
Working collaboratively with the SEN team to deliver therapeutic and academic support
Monitoring and adjusting your approach to meet individual needs
We are looking for a Psychology graduate who:
Holds a 2:1 or above in Psychology or a related field
Has a genuine passion for supporting neurodiverse learners
Is patient calm and committed to inclusive education
Works well in a team and communicates clearly with staff and students
Is ready to take on the challenge and reward of an ASC/ADHD Teaching Assistant role
This ASC/ADHD Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for someone seeking long-term growth.
