Base salary: $67671 - $80000 (a location-based pay differential may be provided based on employees base of designation).

Job Summary:
School for International Training seeks an Associate Director to join the University Relations team. In this role you will provide strategic leadership and management oversight for a team of University Relations Managers to drive enrollment growth across a portfolio of institutional partners. This role supports the development of meaningful partnerships with U.S. colleges and universities and mission-driven organizations to drive enrollment in SITs study abroad and graduate programs.
This role is ideal for an experienced strategic and collaborative team leader who combines a target-driven mindset with a relationship-oriented approach. You bring a thoughtful data-informed perspective to guiding a team and identifying institutional growth opportunities. As Associate Director you will work closely with University Relations leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement plans that drive enrollment growth support team performance and enhance the organizations institutional reach and impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of geographically diverse University Relations Managers providing coaching in consultative sales relationship management and professional development support.
- Manage team performance by driving accountability and accurate reporting toward enrollment targets and other critical performance metrics.
- Oversee territory and account planning budget compliance and partnership agreements ensuring team alignment with organizational priorities enrollment targets and regional opportunities.
- Leverage CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and other data analytics platforms to evaluate team performance assess engagement identify trends and guide strategic decisions.
- Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans in collaboration with leadership to increase student enrollment on SIT study abroad programs and graduate programs.
- Cultivate and strengthen strategic relationships with key institutional partners serving as a senior contact supporting the University Relations Manager for complex accounts and initiatives.
- Represent SIT at professional conferences and events and high-level meetings strengthening visibility and institutional alignment.
- Lead or support US international site visits regional events and campus programming as needed.
- Serve as team liaison with Marketing Admissions Finance and Academic Affairs and other departments to align outreach strategies and ensure consistent partner engagement and support.
- Drive accountability for development and implementation of inclusive partnership strategies to increase enrollment of underrepresented and underserved student populations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Experience/Education:
Bachelors degree (or international equivalent) required; Masters degree preferred
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in education or a sales-related field
At least 4 years of experience in relationship management business development or consultative sales
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing staff
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success record of growing program enrollment and cultivating long-term strategic partnerships
- Experience using CRM tools and analyzing performance data to inform decision-making and strategy
Strong ability to represent SIT professionally and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders including university and college administrators faculty staff students and alumni
Demonstrated expertise in managing direct reports and leading remote teams
Demonstrated commitment to access efforts
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for institutional visits and related engagements
Skilled in motivating teams through clear communication strategic coaching and impactful leadership
Ability to occasionally perform physical tasks such as lifting boxes (2530 pounds) and arranging furniture for meetings or events
