The coordination department plays a critical role in ensuring consistent caregiver coverage maintaining compliance resolving service issues and supporting overall agency operations.
This hands-on leadership role involves overseeing day-to-day coordination operations including client communication shift coverage payroll timelines and compliance with LHCSA and Department of Health regulations. The position requires a strategic and emotionally intelligent leader who thrives in a fast-paced service-driven environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Leading the coordination team and supervising daily scheduling activities
Ensuring timely and complete shift coverage for all homecare clients
Overseeing client and caregiver communication and service resolutions
Maintaining compliance with LHCSA/DOH requirements and internal protocols
Managing payroll billing accuracy and Medicaid eligibility coordination
Tracking and analyzing team performance and operational metrics
Supporting recruitment training QA initiatives and process improvement
Providing after-hours availability for time-sensitive issues
Ideal Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience leading coordination teams in homecare
Strong knowledge of Medicaid LHCSA regulations and caregiver management
Excellent interpersonal leadership and conflict-resolution skills
Technologically proficient with coordination platforms and operational tools
Experience with waiver programs is a plus
Strong Excel or Smartsheet skills preferred
Multilingual abilities and background in QA or team training are advantages

After-hours responsiveness required for urgent coordination matters
