Continuity & Commissioning Engineer

Your role

The Continuity & Commissioning Engineer (C&C Engineer) provides technical expertise and input to the Solution Engineering and Operations teams and interfaces with the DE&C teams ensuring that technical solutions and construction design meet operational technical and customer SLA standards and requirements. The C&C Engineer ensures best practices/learnings from last builds and large-scale infrastructure projects are followed. The C&C Engineer provides technical expertise with respect to problem management.

What youll need

• Review that all technical standards and requirements are met from technical deployment upon finalization of the build activities
• Prepares and participates in handover from Construction to Operations team ensures that all handover criteria are met including trainings and instructions for local Operations.
• Ensures a proper implementation of technical upgrades to the site with thorough live testing.
• Attends and improves the commissioning tests of every new data centre or expansion and end of life equipment and participate in all testing and preproduction runs.
• Provides technical Best practice learnings and input to DE&C teams and provides proper accounting of learnings from prior builds and large scale infra structure projects.
• Provides technical expertise and input to Solution Engineering and local cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with operations and SLA standards and requirements
• Provides technical feedback documentation review and (new) build standards descriptions.
• Coordinates activities of vendor representatives and subcontractors after commissioning (snagging).
• Prepares organizes and plan all service continuity request tasks and activities in an effective manner.
• Responsible for pre-study activities for local projects and support with asset management. Is the regional / local champion of the continuous improvement and Problem Management process. Works closely with the Regional Operations team regarding Problem Management tasks and the connected processes and act as SPOC
