About the Role
Using our amazing collections and professional expertise Creative Learning Services delivers engaging learning opportunities to support the curriculum inspire pupils and equip staff in schools with knowledge and skills.
You will deliver workshops to primary pupils secondary students and parents in schools throughout Leicestershire and Leicester provide professional advice for school library staff and manage the paid-for subscriptions of a caseload of schools.
You will contribute to working with the local library and educational partners to share your expertise in facilitating book awards online author talks and CPD.
You will be using your professional knowledge of childrens fiction and non-fiction to enthuse teachers and pupils about childrens literature to raise attainment and wellbeing and develop and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum and current childrens literature through your own reading and contributing to the CLS library book selection.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
