Job Role: Construction Manager - Electrical
Experience Required :
12-14 Years Minimum of 12 years with experience in oil & gas construction
Location : Kuwait
Qualification:Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
Job Description:
The ideal candidate should have at least 12 years of experience in oil and gas substations and electrical projects. They must be a hard-working professional capable of handling a variety of office and on-site support tasks and can perform effectively under pressure. The candidate should excel in problem-solving and possess strong critical thinking and analytical skills. Additionally they should demonstrate excellent communication interpersonal and organizational abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development of construction plans and specifications. This includes working with engineers to develop designs that meet the project requirements and client budget.
- Manage the procurement of materials and equipment. This includes coordinating with vendors to ensure that materials and equipment are delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage the construction workforce. This includes hiring and supervising construction workers as well as ensuring that they are following safety procedures and protocols.
- Inspect the construction work to ensure that it is being completed to the required standards. This includes resolving any problems that may arise during construction. The construction manager will need to inspect the work regularly to ensure that it is meeting the project requirements.
- Coordinate with other stakeholders such as engineers contractors and clients. This includes communicating with stakeholders about the projects status and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Close out the project. This includes ensuring that the project is completed to the required standards and that all deliverables are met. The construction manager will need to finalize the project documents and ensure that all payments are made.
In addition to these responsibilities construction managers in the oil and gas industry must also have a strong understanding of the industrys regulations and safety standards. They must also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment independently and as part of a team.
